We are looking for a full-time, permanent Paralegal / Legal Operations (all genders) to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.

As part of our Legal team, you ensure that growth translates into clear, stable, and scalable structures. You bring order to topics that span across countries, entities, and varying requirements, making sure that information, documents, and processes always remain reliable and transparent.

With that, you make a meaningful contribution to the Contabo Group. You create a foundation that allows legal topics not only to be handled properly, but also for our processes to evolve, scale with our growth, and function effectively on an international level.

So, there’s plenty to do:
You take on a central role in organizing and structuring our legal operations. This includes establishing and maintaining a clear, future-proof filing system for contracts and legal documents, structuring digital records, and ensuring that information remains easily accessible and understandable over time. At the same time, you ensure reliable deadline tracking and create transparency around ongoing topics and responsibilities.

In the area of corporate housekeeping, you support corporate law-related matters, maintain documentation and overviews, and coordinate processes with notaries and external partners. In addition, you take care of the structured administration of our insurance topics, keeping track of relevant matters and ensuring smooth communication with insurers and brokers.

Beyond that, you act as an important interface within the Contabo Group. You prepare documents and templates, support administrative processes, and ensure that information flows clearly and reliably between Legal, internal stakeholders, and external partners. At the same time, you identify recurring patterns in day-to-day work and translate them into practical, standardized processes that make our legal setup more efficient and robust over time.

In this role, it’s not just about organization - it’s about building structures that grow with us, making complexity manageable, and laying the foundation for a future-proof, internationally scalable legal function.

What convinces us

Your personality, paired with: 
  • a completed vocational training, e.g. as a paralegal (ReNo), legal specialist, or a comparable qualification with a legal focus, as well as several years of practical experience (approx. 3–7 years) in a law firm, in-house legal department, or a similar environment
  • solid experience in structured document and records management (physical and digital), along with a strong understanding of formal legal documentation requirements
  • initial hands-on experience in corporate housekeeping, particularly in handling corporate documentation and formal processes
  • a good understanding of workflows in legal departments or law firms, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and structures
  • a structured, reliable, and self-driven way of working, combined with strong organizational skills and the ability to think ahead
  • very good German and English skills, both written and spoken

What is a plus (but not a must):
  • experience with document management systems or comparable digital filing structures
  • exposure to the administrative handling of insurance-related topics
  • initial experience in a comparable role within a company or a commercially oriented law firm
