From Palword and Enshrouded to Minecraft and Battlefield, we provide a wide variety of around 100 different multiplayer games from all genres.


We are looking for a part-time, Working Student for the role as QA Engineer (all genders) for GPORTAL to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site due to your proximity to one of our locations.

As a QA Engineer Working Student at GPORTAL, you play a key role in ensuring our software products are reliable and stable. You’ll help us expand our test automation and continuously improve test coverage. Your tasks include both manual and automated testing of new features and bug fixes, with clear documentation of your results using TestRail.
 
You’ll be involved throughout the entire software development process — from planning to release — actively helping to identify and track issues in our Jira ticket system. Additionally, you’ll support the introduction and enhancement of our test automation efforts, making a real impact on the quality of our software.
 
With your contribution, we speed up development cycles and boost customer satisfaction. Together, we make sure our software is something everyone can rely on.

What convinces us

Ideally, you would have:

• A currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Jira and agile development processes
• Basic knowledge of testing methods and tools (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Postman, Pytest)
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Python, and SQL
• Fluent English skills, German is a plus
• A structured, detail-oriented working style and strong communication skills. We value a team-oriented mindset, as collaboration is key to our success.
• Interest in gaming is highly welcomed
