We are looking for a full-time, permanent UX/UI Developer to start as soon as possible. We live remote-first, but you have the freedom to choose whether you want to work hybrid or completely on-site depending on your proximity to one of our locations.


As our new UX/UI Developer, you will be part of a skilled team of experts who manage and develop websites. In your role, you will have a direct impact on the future of Contabo by developing, maintaining, and improving our websites.

Your focus will be on creating user-friendly designs that engage visitors and increase conversion rates. Designing mockups/wireframes for new features and implementing responsive web designs using a CSS framework such as Tailwind or SMUI will be your main scope. In addition to design, you will also implement new frontend features with Typescript and Svelte.

The definition of style guides and the revision of the look and feel of our website round off your exciting tasks, as well as support with bug fixes and writing frontend tests.

You will also take part in cross-team meetings to improve the internal development processes and infrastructure. Your solution-oriented and innovative approach is crucial to the success of our fast-growing company. And all this happens in a diverse, international, and cross-functional team in an agile working environment.

In addition, the position offers a lot of freedom for creativity and the opportunity to develop professionally. And, of course we support you with an intensive training to give you the best possible start in the team.

What convinces us

Your personality, paired with:

• Several years of experience in UX/UI and web development
• The ability to work with HTML, CSS/SCSS and UX/UI tools (e.g. Figma or Photoshop)
• Proficiency with a programing language such as TypeScript, JavaScript
• Experience with Web frameworks like Svelte/ SvelteKit, Astro, Angular or React
• Knowledge in automatic testing (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) and experience with headless CMS systems
